Tenth Anniversary CBIAC Conference

Across the 54 countries on the African continent, there is a high prevalence of companies engaged in value-added manufacturing and services. These companies cover a wide range of industries, from manufacturing (e.g., automobiles, iron, and steel) to services (e.g., transportation, logistics, and finance). Many industries, such as petroleum and telecommunications, are among the largest industries in 10 or more countries, indicating continent-wide value-added activities. Further, each country hosts value-added activity in a variety of industries.

Participants are invited to give presentations on either a single industry’s continent-wide activities or a single country’s

value-added activities across industries. Participants should review the country and industry information on the CBIAC website when preparing their proposals.
